About us
The company “Controltest” Ltd was founded in 1995. It is well known at the Bulgarian market and abroad with the services rendered in the field of nondestructive, destructive testing and electrical measurements, life prediction of materials and structures, integrated quality systems consulting and Technical Survey.
The company central office is situated in the capital of Bulgaria – city of Sofia. There are three more laboratories in Bulgaria located as follows:
- North Bulgaria – town of Pleven (HEM – Chemical Industry Construction and repair shop);
- South Bulgaria – town of Galabovo(“ME1” – TPP “Maritza East”1);
- North-East Bulgaria – town of Varna.
- South-East Bulgaria – town of Burgas (“Controltest-Gama” Ltd. – a join venture company together with “Gama” Ltd )

Non destructive testing of materials (Radiographic testing, Ultrasonic testing; thickness measurements; lamination, Dye Penetrant testing, Magnetic testing, Eddy Currents testing, Thickness measurement of coatings, Visual testing, Leak testing, Insulation discontinuity examination (Holliday test), Hardness measurements, Vibration measurements, Chemical analyses of materials, X-ray alloy analyses, Spectral analyses
Destructive testing of materials (Tensile strength, Yield stress, Percentage reduction, Percentage elongation, Bending)
Electrical measurements up to 1000V (impedence of circuit”guard –wire-phase”, Resistance of earthing and lighting installations; Isolation resistance, Switches for protection shutting down)

Our staff
The total number of the specialists working in the company is 34- 50% of them are with university degree.
The most of the specialists are properly trained NDT operators and 20 of them are certified according EN 473 by TÜV – Rhainland Bulgaria.
